Major Programs/Projects
Besides programs that COUNSENUTH operates, Counsenuth also serves as Nutrition technical Partner to major National Health Programs.
1) NUTRITION CARE FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV AND AIDS
Purpose:
To improve the quality of life of People Living with HIV and AIDS in Tanzania, and decrease HIV relate morbidity and mortality by strengthening Nutritional care and support in the comprehensive care package: including the care for orphans and vulnerable Children.

2) MATERNAL AND CHILD NUTRITION Infant and Young Child Feeding and Nutrition
Purpose:
To improve infant and young child nutrition, including promoting, supporting and promoting exclusive breast feeding for the first e months of life and complemented breastfeeding to 2 years and beyond.
3) Infant and Young Child Feeding in the Context of HIV and AIDS
Purpose:
To improve infant and young child feeding practices and nutrition, in the context of HIV and AIDS.

4) HEALTHY EATING AND LIFESTYLE APPROACHES IN PREVENTION AND MANAGEMENT OF CHRONIC NON-COMMUNICABLE DISEASES
Purpose:
To prevent and manage chronic non-communicable diseases among Tanzanians, through nutrition and healthy eating, and change of life style where applicable. (With a focus to Diabetes, Cancer and Heart diseases).
